Exam crunch time!

This is just a short blog before my biological clock completely malfunctions. Pulling all nighters every day for the past week turned me into a living zombie and now I'm suffering from a condition I never thought I would suffer from: insomnia... I just can't seem to be able to go back to sleep after 5am!

Anyways, exams are really stressful and I really wish I had started studying months before the exam crunch began.

I came up with 3 tips to reduce stress during the exam time that I'm going to strictly abide by for the next 2 weeks.

1. Force yourself to take breaks.

Breaks are so important especially during cramming time. Your brain needs time to process the huge amount of information intake. So make sure you take at least 10 minute break after an hour of studying!

2. Know when to say NO!

It's really important to get your priorities straight during exam crunch time. Going out with friends might seem harmless at the moment but always remember the closer you are to the exam date the heavier the consequences will be. Remember, you want to get good GPA.

3. Be confident!

Always keep in mind that you are no less prepared than anybody else in your classroom. Trust that you have done the best you could and relax and smile going into that gymnasium :)

Cant wait till freedom!

I'm going boho in the summer

Boho-chic is a female fashion trend that was started by the hippies in the 1960s.
It was especially popular during the 2004-2008 period when Sienna Miller worked the trend and attracted hundreds of paparazzi's.
Fortunately, this look is in revival and will be popular again in the summer of 2010.
Here are some of the must-have items you need for a bohemian look:

cute earrings and baggy tops

sandals, big hoop earrings, headband across your forehead, and bangles!
Oh, and don't forget to whip out those shades 8-)

And of course, we cannot forget the braided, messy hairstyle :)
I personally really like this hairstyle on Blake Lively.

She looks gorgeous with any hairstyle but I personally think she looks amazing with this hair-do.

As much as I'm aware of how much people hate Miley Cyrus, I must admit she looks really good in bohemian outfits.

So do Vanessa Hudgens and Rachel Bilson!

You can also find this "carefree" look on top notch fashion runway.

The outfit on the very right is my personal favourite although the model looks like she could use another 15 pounds :P

This is Sienna Miller working the look. Isn't she gorgeous?

There is something about this look that really appeals to me. Maybe it's just the free bohemian spirit that makes this look so captivating.

go boho, not hobo :)

My ultimate favourite place to shop for lingerie is PINK without a doubt.
PINK is a newly-launched clothing line for the famous Victoria's Secret.

Since there's no Victoria Secret stores in Canada, I go to either La Senza or PINK :)
I remember watching a documentary on one of the VS model auditions and it was sooo friggin competitive to become one of them. No wonder why they are so flawless!

Here are some of my favourite VS models:

Adriana Lima

She is the most gorgeous VS model, in my opinion, after Giesel Bunchen.

She is currently the Queen of all Victoria's Secret Angels :)

Heidi Klum

When I first read that she was a mother of 4 children, oldest one being 6, I flipped out. She is so gorgeous and confident and intelligent! She is currently married to Seal.

Tyra Banks

Many people might know her from the show I used to worship back when I was in high school, America's Next Top Model. If not, maybe you have seen her in her popular talk show, The Tyra Banks Show. But she was also a VS model back in her prime modeling career.

I respect her for her boldness and confidence. Tyra Banks is one of the most well-achieved model I know, without a doubt.

To be honest, when I was in high school it was my dream to be the first asian model to walk on the runway at the Victoria's Secret fashion show :P

Although that the dream's been crushed by Liu Wen, who is the first ever East Asian to walk down the VS Fashion Show in 2009, and my new priority aka university, these models are still my inspiration to stay in shape and squeeze in as much modeling as I can throughout university :)

J'adore Victoria's Secret.
